Thu, 11/09/2023 - 10:23

Sandy and Mike McManus of East Hampton and Vero Beach, Fla., have announced the marriage of their daughter, Nina Bond, to Armann Gretarsson, a son of Gudfinna and Gretar Leifsson of Melville and Iceland.

The wedding, which took place on Oct. 7 at the bride’s family home here, “had a cozy and intimate atmosphere as it was attended only by close friends and family,” the bride’s mother wrote.

The bride’s brother, Mike McManus of New York City, and East Hampton Town Justice Steven Tekulsky were the officiants.

Brynjar Leifsson of Nesconset, the groom’s brother, was the best man. The maid of honor was Kaitlyn Brown McManus of New York City, the bride’s sister-in-law.

The bride is a licensed insurance broker at Amaden Gay Agencies. The groom is an East Hampton Village police officer.

They live in East Hampton with their dog, Bell, and are planning a wedding trip to South America this winter.
