Surf Lodge’s Summer Menu
The summer menu at the Surf Lodge in Montauk has been developed by Shaun Hergatt, who was chef de cuisine at the Ritz Carlton in Sydney, Australia, prior to moving to New York City, where his namesake restaurant, SHO Shaun Hergatt, received two Michelin stars. “I wanted the Surf Lodge’s menu to be coastal and beachy while bringing some elevation to the food,” said Mr. Hergatt, who has added more healthy options, including an increased number of fish dishes such as poke bowls, lobster, scallops, and crab. There are no dishes made with cream, said Mr. Hergatt. “Everything is clean, precise and delicious,” he said. “People will find themselves eating like they’re in New York.”
