Innersleeve Records, which vacated its space in Amagansett Square in the spring, has returned to the hamlet. On Saturday, Craig Wright opened his shop at 199 Main Street, the former site of Gone Local, which has moved to North Main Street in East Hampton.

As at its previous location, the sunlight-filled space is stocked with second-hand and new LP records. When installation of bins and shelving is complete, visitors will also find new and second-hand CDs, turntables and amplifiers, and coffee-table books on music and popular culture. A wall-mounted flat-screen television will show concert performances and music videos, and a stage is being planned for live in-store performances.

The new space, Mr. Wright said, “became available to me, and to me it was a step up. The Square was great to me, but not everyone who comes to Main Street necessarily goes to the Square. But the reverse is true.”

The new Innersleeve Records is directly across the street from Crossroads Music and a stone’s throw east of the Stephen Talkhouse. His shop, Mr. Wright said, “makes this the musical trinity.”

When he vacated the Amagansett Square location that is now occupied by Pilgrim Surf + Supply, Mr. Wright moved his shop to Long Wharf in Sag Harbor. Innersleeve will remain in that space, giving its owner two locations, a status he had previously only dreamed of. “I started getting a following there,” he said of the Sag Harbor location. “People were disappointed when I told them I was moving back to Amagansett. The summer was great there — if I can hang on in the wintertime, I think it’s important to represent in both towns.”

The vinyl resurgence, though still modest, is real. According to the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry’s annual Recording Industry in the Numbers report, sales of vinyl records in 2012 were the highest in 15 years. The format is the only sector of prerecorded music that is increasing, and a devoted, worldwide community of aficionados continues to support it. “When you talk about number of units it’s certainly not on the same scale as downloads,” Mr. Wright said, “but it’s ticking upwards.”

Along with selling, Mr. Wright is also a buyer of vinyl. “I like to help people stay in [vinyl], and I can also help people get out,” he said. “There is a market for them.”

The shop will be open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., though the hours may expand. “Mary’s [Marvelous] has a nice early crowd, and [Indian Wells] Tavern and the Talkhouse a bit later on the weekends. It may end up being 9 to 8.”

Women Entrepreneurs

Bonnie Schnitta, the owner of SoundSense, an acoustical engineering company with offices in East Hampton, Manhattan, and Los Angeles, traveled to Lima, Peru, in November along with 100 women entrepreneurs from Africa, Asia, Europe, and South America to take part in the seventh annual International Women’s Entrepreneurial Challenge Conference.

Hosted by the Lima Chamber of Commerce, the conference recognized successful women from such industries as acoustic engineering, manufacturing, electronics, agribusiness, health services, computer software, and many others. Ms. Schnitta was an award-winner at the 2011 conference and this year became a member of the International Women’s Entrepreneurial Challenge advisory board.

SoundSense “works to improve acoustics in homes, offices, classrooms, restaurants, construction, businesses, and industry, and is a full-service engineering firm that includes both material sales and installation,” according to its website.

Mindbody Ranked in Top 50

Mindbody, which offers online business-management software for health clubs, spas, personal trainers, physical therapists, stylists, and yoga and martial arts studios, has been ranked number 20 among the “50 best medium-sized companies to work for” in the 2014 Glassdoor Employees’ Choice Awards.

The tech company, founded in 2001 and based in San Luis Obispo, Calif., has offices at the Red Horse Plaza and on Toilsome Lane in East Hampton, as well as in London and Sydney, Australia.

Glassdoor is a website that provides an inside look at jobs and companies with “employee-generated content” such as salaries, company reviews, and interview questions posted by employees and job seekers. The “50 best medium-sized companies to work for,” in which winning companies were determined by their employees, is a new addition in Glassdoor’s sixth annual Employees’ Choice Awards.

Helen Ficalora, of the eponymous jewelry line that adorns the slim limbs of models and actresses and is often featured in layouts in major fashion magazines, has created a men’s line of jewelry that will be available by Father’s Day.

Ms. Ficalora had a “soft” opening of her new men’s flagship store in early December. The store is in Manhattan, at 21 Cleveland Place in SoHo, right next door to her women’s boutique.

The overall reception to the line was good, said her son and spokesman, Marley Ficalora, who with his brother, Lennon, owns Wampum, a skateboarding shop directly behind the vivid pink Helen Ficalora store on Bridgehampton’s Main Street.

The jeweler takes great care in her packaging, with pink her signature color. And as with the Tiffany blue, all the jewelry purchased from Ms. Ficalora comes in a pink pouch, in a pink gift box that is placed in a tiny pink shopping bag. For the men’s line, the packaging will be a deep masculine purple, with “Helen Ficalora” embossed on the box.

When Ms. Ficalora began designing jewelry about 15 years ago, she started out with initialized gold disks on a gold chain, an idea that has been copied by many jewelers since. At first she sold her pieces by appointment only at the family-owned Breakers Motel on Old Montauk Highway in Montauk, where she spends most of her summers. She also has homes in Washington State and Palm Beach, Fla., and finds inspiration wherever she lives, she said.

Once the initialed necklaces became well known, Ms. Ficalora helped out a friend, a Montauk real estate broker, by holding a trunk show to get people inside a house that was for sale. As word spread that the jeweler was there, the house was swarmed with women, none of them house hunting but most leaving with their little pink boxes.

Since then, she has enlarged her inventory to include heart charms, necklaces with gold keys, diamond-studded pieces, rings, earrings, and little women depicted in yoga poses dangling from chains.

The men’s line features large rings, skulls on chains, and initialed pendants. But there is more to come, according to Marley, who said his mom is spending the winter in her “lab” coming up with more men’s designs.

Ms. Ficalora now owns six women’s boutiques and the men’s store. She said she is hoping to establish a comfortable setting for men to discover what might be suitable to their individual tastes. The men’s line will be available in selected Helen Ficalora boutiques, including the store in Bridgehampton. Samples of her work can be seen and orders placed at helenficalora.com.
