‘Classical Collaborations’

The Perlman Music Program will present “Classical Collaborations” concerts at the Jewish Center of the Hamptons on Saturday at 8 p.m. and at the Southampton Cultural Center on Sunday afternoon at 4:30.

For both programs, Merry Peckham, Itzhak Perlman, Roger Tapping, Don Weilerstein, and Vivian Hornik-Weilerstein will join students of the Perlman Music Program’s Chamber Music Workshop to perform chamber music masterworks by Brahms, Dvorak, Mendels­sohn, Schumann, and other composers.

Saturday’s concert will include the Brahms B-flat Sextet, and Sunday’s will feature Schumann’s Piano Quintet in E-flat. Patrick Romano will conduct the music program’s chorus during both concerts.

Tickets for the East Hampton concert are $50, $200 for V.I.P. seats. The Southampton program costs $25, $50 for premium seats. Both concerts will be followed by receptions.
