The summer season has ended, but Guild Hall hasn’t gotten the message. A trio of music programs and a solo performance that takes place in a bathtub are on the calendar for the coming week, starting tomorrow evening at 8 with a performance by the composer and pianist Bruce Wolosoff and his daughter, Juliet Garrett, a singer-songwriter.
Mr. Wolosoff’s compositions integrate modern classical, jazz, and blues. In recent years he has composed pieces inspired by the art of Milton Resnick, Eric Fischl, and April Gornik. His “Concerto for Cello and Orchestra,” which was recorded in London by Sara Sant’Ambrogio and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, will be released in the fall.
Inspired in part by Joni Mitchell, Carole King, and Fleetwood Mac, Ms. Garrett brings the tradition of 1970s formal songwriting into the present. While her father lives on Shelter Island, she divides her time between New York City and London and has played at venues across Europe as well as in Manhattan. Tickets are $22 to $70, $20 to $65 for members.
“Fascinating Rhythm: The Words and Music of the Gershwins” will bring five stars of musical theater and cabaret to Guild Hall on Saturday evening at 8 for a tour of the Gershwins’ music that begins in London in 1924 with “Fascinating Rhythm” from “Lady Be Good” and ends on Broadway with music from “Porgy and Bess.”
The performers are Anna Bergman, Klea Blackhurst, Michael-Demby Cain, Lee Roy Reams, and KT Sullivan. The musical director is Jon Weber, a jazz pianist who has recorded and toured all over the world and hosts NPR’s “Piano Jazz With Jon Weber.” Patricia Watt is the producer. Tickets are $40 to $75, $38 to $70 for members.
Cristina Fontanelli, a concert, nightclub, and opera singer, will headline “September Serenade,” a performance from Opera and Broadway of the Hamptons, on Sunday afternoon at 3. The
program will include opera arias, duets, hit tunes from Broadway, and dance numbers by young performers from Long Island.
Riccardo Meri, a tenor, and Ricardo Rivera, a baritone, will join Ms. Fontanelli, who has been called “a cross between Maria Callas and Ethel Merman” by Forbes magazine. Steven Crawford will accompany the performers.
The program includes music from “Madam Butterfly,” “West Side Story,” “La Bohème,” and “Hamilton,” as well as Neapolitan songs. Tickets, available from brownpapertickets.com, range from $45 to $68, with V.I.P. tickets, which
include premium seating, a complimentary glass of wine, and artist access, priced at $75.
Siobhan O’Loughlin, a former artist in residence at Guild Hall, will return to East Hampton next Thursday for a series of performances of “Broken Bone Bathtub.” Billed as an “immersive happening,” the piece began its global tour in Tokyo in 2015 and has been performed in Australia and throughout the United States.
It takes place in a bathtub in a private house, where a young woman who has suffered a serious bike accident tells her story and asks for help. The audience takes on the role of Ms. O’Loughlin’s friends, sharing their own experiences and assisting her in the bathing ritual.
The performances will take place on Thursdays at 7 p.m., Fridays and Saturdays at 7 and 9, and Sundays at 3 p.m., from next Thursday through Sept. 22. For each performance, an audience of 10 will meet at Guild Hall and walk to the nearby performance site. Tickets are $40, $38 for members.
