As part of the celebration of its 100th anniversary, the East Hampton Historical Society will hold its annual East Hampton Antiques and Design Show at Mulford Farm next weekend, starting with a preview cocktail party on Friday, July 15, at 6 p.m., and continuing on July 16 and 17.

The show focuses on artworks and vintage decorative items for the home and garden, all provided by more than 50 antiques and art dealers. On offer will be classic rattan and bamboo furniture, lighting, textiles, architectural elements, American and European country decorated furniture, Art Deco items, garden ornaments, paintings, period jewelry, wrought-iron accessories, and much more.

The preview party, a benefit for the historical society, will give patrons an early buying opportunity as well as a chance to mingle with such design notables as Jonathan Adler, Simon Doonan, Stephen Drucker, Steven Gambrel, Ina Garten, Celerie Kemble, Aerin Lauder, Charlotte Moss, David Netto, Tom Samet, Scott Sanders, and Marshall Watson.

“As we celebrate our centennial,” said Steve Long, the historical society's executive director, “the antiques show is critical for our efforts to preserve and interpret our historic properties, provide vital history education for local students, and facilitate opportunities for the entire community to engage with the past.”

The show will be open to the general public on July 16 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and the day after from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tickets are $15. The Mattitaco food truck will provide food and beverages during the show.

Tickets for the preview cocktail party start at $175 and include return visits over the weekend. All tickets can be purchased by visiting the events page on the historical society's website, by emailing [email protected], or by calling 631-324-6850, extension 1.
