The Moondogs, the East End's Beatles tribute band, will rock the Clubhouse in East Hampton with "Paul McCartney: The Early Years," on Friday at 8 p.m., in celebration of Sir Paul's recent 80th birthday.

The band will perform faithful versions of his songs from 1962 to 1971. While the concert will emphasize classics from his Beatles years, it will also include selections from his first two post-Beatles albums.

The Moondogs are Fred Gilde (keyboards, vocals), Mick Hargreaves (guitar, vocals), Dan Koontz (keyboards, vocals), Joe Lauro (bass, vocals), Jeff Levitt (guitar), Mark Pohl (drums), and Michael Schiano (guitar, vocals). Tickets are $40.

Say Cheese (or Caviar), Day or Night

Self Provisions, a storefront attached to Cavaniola’s Gourmet Cheese in Sag Harbor, is “always open,” as is proclaimed by an illuminated sign on the wall at the entrance. Two large, brightly lit vending machines dominate the space, with offerings ranging from sea salt crackers and slabs of French butter to jars of caviar and curated gift boxes — and, of course, cheese.
