Stranger Days
Adam O'Farrill, an award-winning trumpeter, composer, and curator of the music series at the Arts Center at Duck Creek in Springs, will bring his quartet, Stranger Days, to that venue on Saturday at 5 p.m.
Of the group's most recent album, "Visions of Your Other," The Wall Street Journal wrote, "Mr. O’Farrill’s music is refined and discreet; it integrates aspects of art rock and contemporary classical music and boasts a cinematic influence." The New York Times and Boston Globe named "Visions" one of the best albums of 2021.
Mr. O'Farrill will also offer insights on his selection of musicians for the series and what it means to organize a free music series.
Beach chairs have been suggested, and picnics will be welcomed.
