Forever Shingle in Southampton

The Southampton Arts Center's sixth annual Architecture and Design Tour, set for Friday, June 16, will explore the modern evolution of Shingle Style architecture in Southampton.

The day will begin at 11 a.m. with brunch, after which a panel discussion will take place in the arts center's theater from noon to 1:30. Panelists will represent Robert A.M. Stern Architects, Kligerman Architecture and Design, John David Rose Architects, and Siamak Samii Architect.

Four Southampton Village houses expressing the Shingle Style can be visited between 1:30 and 4; addresses will be provided upon arrival at the arts center.

Tickets start at $350.

Also at the center, Joe's Pub Piano Bar and Night, an evening of song and socializing, happens on Friday from 7 to 9. Tickets are $25, $20 for members.
