Screenwriters Lab
HamptonsFilm is now accepting applications for its 25th annual Screenwriters Lab, which will take place April 4 through April 6. Held each spring, the lab pairs selected fellows with established writers and creative producers for a weekend of one-on-one mentorship. Over the course of the weekend, film industry veterans advise the participating fellows on their feature-length projects in a series of individual and group development sessions.

The regular deadline is Dec. 5, the late deadline Dec. 19, and the extended deadline Jan. 16. More information and a submission link can be found at filmfreeway.com/HamptonsFilmScreenwritersLab.

Award-Winning Drama
The National Theatre Live series will return to Guild Hall Friday evening at 7 with "Prima Facie," which was captured live during its premiere engagement in 2022 at the Harold Pinter Theatre in London's West End.

The one-woman play, written by Suzie Miller and directed by Justin Martin, stars Jodie Comer as Tessa, a brilliant young barrister who has worked her way up from working-class origins. An unexpected event forces her to confront the lines where the patriarchal power of the law, burden of proof, and morals diverge.

Ms. Comer won an Olivier Award for her London performance and a Tony for her 2023 performance on Broadway.

Tickets are $20, $18 for members.

Tickets are $30 in advance, $35 at the door, and $65 for cafe table seating.

The Glam Jam returns to the inner sanctum of Sag Harbor's Masonic Temple Thursday from 7 to 9. Walk-in musicians have been advised to arrive early to sign up to join the jam. Admission is a can of nonperishable food, which will be donated to local food pantries.

The temple's music series will present a performance by Jake Lear on Saturday at 8 p.m. Mr. Lear, who grew up with the music of John Lee Hooker, Jimi Hendrix, and Howlin' Wolf, is dedicated to the blues. Tickets are $20.
