Representative Lee Zeldin this week announced that the annual Congressional Art Competition is seeking entries from high school students. Entries are due on April 7 and can be uploaded online at zeldin.house.gov/artcompetition.
The first-place winner will have his or her artwork displayed in the Capitol building in Washington, D.C., and will receive a $3,000 college scholarship to Savannah College of Art and Design or Tennessee Wesleyan University. Second and third-place winners will have their artwork displayed at Mr. Zeldin's office in Patchogue.
