Sag Harbor Kitchen
By the time you read this, it is likely, but not guaranteed, that Sag Harbor Kitchen will be open for business.

The restaurant has taken up the old Dockside space on Bay Street and aspires to be "a coastal culinary haven offering a wide selection of fresh local seafood, lobster, steaks, vegetarian and vegan specialties, and the best burgers in the Hamptons," according to its representatives.

The kitchen is helmed by Melissa O'Donnell who will partner with Kittch, a web-based cooking platform, to offer events with other chefs, cooking classes, live streams, and other experiences. The award-winning chef has won distinctions from Michelin for offering both great food and value. Her spaces are known for communal tables and farm-to-table dishes.

At press time, the restaurant had posted a preliminary menu on Instagram, although both its feed there and its website indicated it was still uncertain about an exact opening day. It also let parents know that Sag Harbor Kitchen will be kid friendly and have choices that will appeal to picky eaters.

The dinner starters menu consists of a selection of snacks such as a mezze plate, plus a cheese and charcuterie plate, raw bar options, small plates like lobster roll-ups, steamers, and grilled octopus, and a selection of salads. There are about a dozen main course options like a vegan vegetable kabob, seafood pasta, poached codfish, flat iron steak, and a fresh Montauk catch of the day. There are also entrees for the table, such as a whole branzino baked in sea salt, bone-in ribeye, and a whole roasted chicken along with a selection of sides and desserts.

A full lunch menu has some of the same entrees and starters, along with sandwiches. Try your luck on Resy for dinner seats. It will likely be open by the weekend.

Fini Finally Open
Word is out that Fini Pizza in the old Astro's space in Amagansett is finally open. The new pizzeria is an offshoot of Fini Pizza in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, itself an offshoot of a higher-end joint called Lilia, also in Brooklyn, and all started by Sean Feeney. The menu is expected to be much the same as in Brooklyn with pie options like Sicilian, white, and grandma in addition to the standard sauce and cheese. There will also be Caesar salad and Italian ice. It is open daily from noon to 10 p.m. with limited phone orders and online ordering coming soon.

Elaia for June
Elaia Estiatorio in Bridgehampton has begun its summer music series on Saturdays with D.J. Sava. It will continue through Sept. 2. Dancing is encouraged. The restaurant is also selling Fancy Peasant's Greek extra virgin olive oil in bottles and cans. On Sundays, brunch is served from 11:30 a.m. with a Greek Benedict with poached eggs over grilled asparagus with Greek yogurt hollandaise, prosciutto, arugula, and Greek home fries. There is also a Greek-style French toast and soft scrambled eggs with crushed tomatoes, feta, onions, and more.

For the Community
For the rest of the month, El Turco in East Hampton will offer 50 percent off all menu items from Monday to Saturday from 5 to 7 p.m. as part of its Community Recognition Month. This offer excludes alcohol. Reservations can be made by calling 631-616-8875.

This article has been modified from its original and print version to indicate the brand of the olive oil being sold at Elaia Estiatorio.
