Amalfi Terrace at Arthur & Sons
Arthur & Sons has officially opened the Amalfi Terrace and Bar at its Bridgehampton location. With an alfresco feel, it features unique tiles, lemon trees, and an outdoor bar, and is evocative of Italy at every turn.
The bar menu includes two different spritzes, Amante and Pallini, two different martinis, limoncello and espresso, and two vodka cocktails, one with spice tamarind vodka and another with cucumber vodka. The restaurant is now open for lunch on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from noon to 4 p.m.
Tiki Time at Coche
Coche Comedor in Amagansett has unveiled a brand-new Tiki Time cocktail menu for the summer, and has also announced that its bar will be open at noon on Saturdays and Sundays, with dinner service available at 5 p.m. The Tiki Time menu features five new cocktails, two of which are made to be shared, all of them served in ceramic glassware with fresh garnish. All five cocktails are rum based, and each has a special twist. The La Raquel features house-made toasted coconut cream and ripe fresh-pressed pineapple juice, for all who like pina coladas and getting caught in the rain. The Cyril’s BBC and the Key Party are made to be shared by at least two people, and feature ingredients like Giffard Banane du Bresil and Brisson Cognac V.S.O.P. respectively.
Coche Comedor is also rolling out a Tap Takeover from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday featuring discounted drink specials including glasses of wine, pints of Mexican lager, and a media marg, half the size of a classic margarita, all for $5.
ARF Beer Release
The Animal Rescue Fund of the Hamptons will host a beer release and adoption event at the Kidd Squid Brewing Co. in Sag Harbor on Saturday from noon to 3 p.m. Part of ARF’s 50th-anniversary celebrations, the event will feature a limited-edition crisp pilsner made especially for ARF, whose adoption van will be at the adjoining Sag Harbor Garden Center for the afternoon.
The beer stems from the Czech tradition and incorporates cascade hops from Condzella’s Farm in Wading River, as well as saaz hops from the Czech Republic.
Small Bites
Share the Harvest Farm, which has been growing on Long Lane in East Hampton for 15 years, will hold its annual summer festival on Aug. 4, from 5 to 8 p.m. There will be food and drink from local producers, and live music by REEB, a brass band. Tickets cost $200 and can be bought on the farm’s website.
The nonprofit farm’s mission is to grow nutritious, organic produce to donate to local food pantries and nonprofits while increasing “food access for all in need” and raising “awareness about food insecurity on the East End.”
