Jazz Education for Families

The Arts Center at Duck Creek in Springs will have an educational concert on Saturday for families interested in learning more about jazz. 

Hannah Marks, who will appear with her group the Hannah Marks Quartet, is a bassist, bandleader, composer, and educator. She also leads Hannah Marks: Outsider, Outlier and has performed at several festivals, including the Detroit Jazz Festival.

The narrated program will feature pieces by artists such as Ella Fitzgerald and Ornette Coleman.

The concert, to take place from 5 to 7 p.m., is free, though advance registration is recommended.
