YES! YES!, Kids

Thu, 02/27/2020 - 19:53

The South Fork Natural History Museum in Bridgehampton has announced the formation of YES!, its new Young Environmentalists Society, which will hold its first meeting on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Mare Dianora, an interdisciplinary artist whose practice involves building community and exploring connections to home and place, will lead the group.

YES! is open to children 10 to 16 who have a passion for the environment and want to learn about and help stop climate change. The program will include guest speakers and field trips exploring topics such as hydroponic farming, composting, environmental career goals, water conservation, robotics, food, and merchandise packaging. They will meet at SoFo on the last Saturday of every month. There will be bilingual support for Spanish-speaking participants.
