The third annual Hamptons Dog Show happens on Saturday from noon to 3 p.m. at the American Legion Hall in Amagansett.

Awards will be given for unique breed, unique feature, best trick, dog-and-owner lookalike, and best in show. There will be a cash bar, food and ice cream trucks, live music, face painting, and dog treats and apparel.

Preregistration for a canine entrant is $40 and can be done at the East Hampton Lions Club's Facebook page. Admission for spectators is $10, free for children 10 and under.

The East Hampton Town Trustees’ Largest Clam Contest will now be held on Saturday, Oct. 10, from noon to 3 p.m. Would-be contestants can begin harvesting on Oct. 3.
