Shopping Help for Older Adults

Thu, 03/02/2023 - 12:47

East Hampton Town residents who are 60 or older and need help shopping for groceries can find it through a program supported by the town, the New York State Office for the Aging, and the federal Administration for Community Living.

Town staff can take grocery orders over the phone or in person and will deliver groceries and even assist in unpacking them.

Aides are also available to accompany those doing their own grocery shopping. Susan Trotman in the town's Human Services Department is the person to call at 631-324-4443.
