Seedlings Available From FoodLab

The FoodLab at Stony Brook Southampton has vegetable and herb seedlings available at its greenhouse behind the student center on campus at 39 Tuckahoe Road. A donation of $5 will get you one pot of seedlings; a $20 donation will get you five pots. Pickup days are Sunday from 1 to 4 p.m. and Wednesday from 3 to 6:30 p.m.

Available herbs include cilantro, lemon balm, caraway, chamomile, dill, sage, basil, Mexican mint, and anise hyssop. Vegetables include broccoli, kale, arugula, amaranth, Long Island cheese pumpkin, multiple varieties of cucumber, and eight types of tomatoes.

Montauk Playhouse Work Will Be Done by June

Construction of the new aquatic and cultural spaces at the Montauk Playhouse Community Center is slated to be done by the end of June, according to Sarah Iudicone, president of the Montauk Playhouse Community Center Foundation. The date for the public opening, however, is still up in the air.
