Time for the Chowdah Chowdown in Springs

The Springs Food Pantry's annual Chowdah Chowdown fund-raiser will happen at the Springs Firehouse on Saturday from noon to 3 p.m.

Tickets are $50 and include unlimited samples of chowder -- New England clam, Manhattan clam, crab and corn, fish, and others. There will be wine, beer, and live music.       

Participating eateries and chefs this year include Amagansett Seafood, Bonfire Coffeehouse, Derek Freedman, Sen restaurant, Springs Tavern and Grill, and personnel from Coast Guard Station Shinnecock, with others to be announced.       

Along with the unlimited chowder, attendees can take home a container of their favorite at the end of the feast. Tickets are available on the food pantry's website.
