Parade Road Closures

Thu, 05/23/2019 - 07:12

Drivers should be aware that there will be some road closures to accommodate the Springs Fire Department’s 50th anniversary parade on Saturday.

The parade route from Hildreth Place down Springs Fireplace Road to Fort Pond Boulevard will be closed starting at 11 a.m. sharp, according to East Hampton Town Police Lt. John Claflin. The road will be reopened when the parade is finished, which has been estimated to be at 12:30 p.m.

Roads north and south of the parade route will not be affected.

Expect some detours around Ashawagh Hall, where the reviewing stand will be, as well, Lieutenant Claflin said. There are several other events, including the Springs Farmers Market, occurring at the same time.
