Bicyclist Treated at Hospital

Thu, 10/06/2022 - 08:49

A youth riding a bicycle on Division Street in Sag Harbor was struck by a car last Thursday afternoon and fell off the bike. Police found him lying on the ground at the intersection of Union Street and called his mother, who brought him to Stony Brook Southampton Hospital to be treated for bruises on his back.

Two vehicles were damaged and one person was sent to the hospital on the afternoon of Sept. 26 after a 2011 Jeep, driven by Marisa Salamone, 46, of East Hampton, collided with a 1997 BMW convertible driven by George Smith, 83, of New York City. The accident occurred at the intersection of Cedar Street and Roberts Lane in East Hampton. Mr. Smith complained afterward of chest pains and was taken by ambulance to be seen at the hospital.

On the Police Logs 07.10.25

“You need to get out of my room,” a man yelled as he walked into a Surf Lodge hotel room just before midnight on Friday, waking up a New York City woman who had been asleep in the bed. She asked him to test the entry code for the room and closed the door behind him. He left when he was unable to unlock the door.
