After police caught up with Mr. Luna, they charged him with two misdemeanor counts of driving while intoxicated, and a third misdemeanor for falsely representing himself as someone else.

Duvan Salcedo-Pachon, a 22-year-old East Hampton resident, was involved in an accident on Nov. 26 at 4 a.m. while northbound in a 2007 BMW on Stephen Hand’s Path near Wheelock Lane. Police reported that the driver had failed to navigate a bend in the road and crashed into a tree and a utility pole. He faces a first-offense misdemeanor charge of drunken driving.
