Three cases involving East Hampton residents arrested last summer have been wrapped up in East Hampton Town Justice Court.

Dennis A. Ractun of East Hampton, 24, pleaded guilty on June 8 to a single charge of driving while intoxicated, stemming from a car crash in Montauk on Aug. 8, 2021. A second D.W.I. charge was dismissed. Mr. Ractun paid fines of $1,400 and received a three-year probation term; Justice Lisa R. Rana also ordered him to install an interlock device in his car.

Having faced charges of second-degree menacing and criminal mischief with intent to damage property, both misdemeanors, Susan E. Pashman of East Hampton, 79, was convicted by Justice Rana on Aug. 18 of a reduced charge of disorderly conduct. Ms. Pashman paid fines totaling $325 and was ordered to stay away from a 65-year-old man. The charges stemmed from  an Aug. 3, 2021, altercation on a Springs beach.

Sara J. Lucas of East Hampton resolved her case on Aug. 19, paying $1,400 in fines after accepting a plea deal in March. Charged on Aug. 6, 2021, with two counts of D.W.I. and multiple traffic violations, Ms. Lucas was convicted by Justice Rana on one misdemeanor count. She served a six-month license suspension and will remain on probation, with a mandatory interlock device in her car, for several more months.
