Fighting Chance, the cancer resource agency based in Sag Harbor, will conduct a free online program on Tuesday at 4 p.m., with technical help from the East Hampton Library. The program, for anyone affected by cancer or with family or friends who are, will describe Fighting Chance's counseling services.

Sign-ups in advance are required and can be done by visiting eventbrite.com and using the search function to find "Fighting Chance." According to the organization, "Our mental health professionals will assist patients and caregivers in coping with by-products of a cancer diagnosis, including a sense of trauma, stress, hyperanxiety, disorientation, and depression. Our Patient Navigators are skilled at cutting red tape that cancer patients confront with insurance companies, hospitals, doctors."
