Music at the Greek
Calissa Sounds has returned to the Water Mill restaurant with highlights such as Ashanti and Fat Joe on Thursday, Gorgon City next Thursday, and Wyclef Jean on Aug. 17. D.J. Samantha Ronson will spin on Aug. 24 and Sigala ends the summer on Aug. 31. On Aug. 6, a Sunday, Cristo and Rafael will play the music of the Gipsy Kings. D.J.s will also be in the lounge and on the terrace on Friday and Saturday nights.

The performances have a charitable component. According to the restaurant, last year's series raised more than $10,000 for Southampton Volunteer Ambulance, Southampton STARR Aqua Center, and the Headstrong Foundation. This year's beneficiary is the Southampton Volunteer Ambulance.

The music begins at 10 p.m. and tickets and reservations are required. A full schedule can be found on the restaurant's website.

The East Hampton farm's event features small plates from some of its familiar local prepared-food purveyors like Aki's Kitchen, the Lettuce Lady, and East End Cowboy. Terry's Wood Fired Pizza will also be on site, as well as roasted Balsam Farms corn, Share the Harvest Farm side dishes, barbecue tidbits, and other treats of local origin.

Wolffer Estate Vineyards and Channing Daughters Winery will join Springs Brewery in providing beverage selections. Dessert is courtesy of SweetHampton Cakery, Sand Bars Ice Cream Sandwiches, Springs Salt, and others.
