Harriet Slaughter, a poet and artist, and Mira J. Spektor, a poet and composer, will bring their talents to the Montauk Library on Sunday at 3:30 p.m. as part of its Women Celebrating Women series.

“Summer Roses V: An Evening in Paris,” a program that will draw from the late-19th-century musical salons of the City of Lights, will be presented Saturday at 5 p.m. at the Southampton Cultural Center.

See the swirling, colorful surfaces of Andy Moses at The Peter Marcelle Project in Southampton. “Summer Waters,” an exhibition of water-themed photographs by members of the East End Photographers Group, is now on view at the Water Mill Museum.

Orlando Hand Bears’s painting of Ephraim Byram, from 1834, is a life-size portrait of an important figure in Sag Harbor history. LongHouse Reserve’s “On Gossamer Wings” benefit will be held on July 18, but the art auction tied to it is already online at the Paddle8 website.
