Sounds of the Sea in Montauk

"Sounds of the Sea for Chamber Orchestra," part of Music for Montauk's summer concert series, will take place Saturday at 6 p.m. at the Montauk Lighthouse.

The ensemble of string and brass musicians will include Joanna Maurer, first violinist, and Demian Austin, principal trombone, both from the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra, as well as Caleb van der Swaagh, a cellist. The program will feature orchestral and chamber works inspired by the sea from Bernstein, Poulenc, and others.
